Smart India Hackathon 2019 is the third edition of an initiative by Ministry of HRD, AICTE, Persistent Systems, i4c and Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini. The Hackathon saw more than 1 lakh+ technical students this year and only 200 teams were able to make into the Grand Finale, where 18 institutes including KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad were granted the status of a nodal centre. KIET was successful in becoming the first private institute under AKTU to crack this achievement. Dr. (Col) A Garg, Director, KIET Group of Institutions has taken this opportunity hand in hand hence opening a new road of Entrepreneurship and Innovation for students at KIET.
