KATAYIFI with Roasted Walnut and Hazelnuts
Ingredients:
1 Box Kataifi/ room temperature
( Follow pictures and cut into 1 1/2" 's,then loosen by pulling appart,and place in a deep bowl.)
2 sticks butter/ melted and add
11/2 Tbsp. Rose Water
( pour over the Kataifi.
Rub against EACHOTHER IN PALM by hands, until all the butter is absorbed.
Set aside.)

1/3 c Hazelnuts/ chopped & roasted
1 c Walnuts / chopped & roasted
( Roast Hazelnut and Walnuts lightly,
cool them off, then process them in your food processor coarsely.)

Mix in the following ingredients to above nuts.
1 1/2 Tbsp. Rose Water
1 Tbsp. Light Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp. Dark Brown Sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1 1/2 Tbsp. Regular Sugar
2 Tbsp. Melted Butter
Mix well and set aside.

Lught SYRUP..
.
2 1/4 C Sugar
1 1/2 c water
1 white Cardimom
1 Green Cardimom
1 slice with peel lemon / do not squeeze
Sweetness and the thickness of syrup depends on you and how you like. If you like thicker syrup? lessen the water.
Directions:
PREHEAT OVEN 375F
Devide the Kataifi in almost 1/2.
Make sure your bottom lip has a little bit more so than the top. Press down the bottom half of dough onto your baking pan. Use a cup or the palm of your hands to press down.

No place the Walnut mixture on top and spread around evenly. Again with the open palm of your hand or a spoon press down the nuts.

Now the final step is to sprinkle the Kataifi dough on top evenly,again, pressing down with your open palm or a cup of some sort.

Bake in hot oven, until the top starts turning golden brown. This should take depending on your oven between 20 to 30 minutes. As soon as it's done take it out of the oven and pour the cold syrup evenly on top. Set aside for it to absorb all this hair up for at least 1 hour before serving. This can be eaten warm or cold depending on how you like it.
